Once upon a time, Jim Pittenger repoed cars. Now? He splits hot dogs right down the center, chars them on a gas grill, and tops them with Coca-Cola-soaked grilled onions and a "swizzle of cream cheese unloaded from the front end of a caulking gun." Some of the dogs on the menu at Biker Jim's Gourmet Dogs include rattlesnake and pheasant, linguisa, duck cilantro, southwest buffalo, pheasant, and Louisiana red hots, but the elk, wild boar, and reindeer have been attested to by none other than everyone’s favorite gastrogrouch Anthony Bourdain. — Arthur Bovino, 11/13/2012

  • Try one of the many hot dogs made from elk, pheasant or rattlesnake and load it up with caramelized onions and cream cheese.
  • Biker Jims Dogs just can't be missed. His wild game sausages are all the rage, and most likely, they will be for a very, very long time. [Eater 38 Member]

  • Awesome dog shop. Wish I could have tried more but the elk jalapeo was great. Got it topped "Jim's way". The fries weren't great, however. Overcooked. This place crushes Crif Dogs in NYC.
  • Forget hot dogs- try the fried Mac 'n Cheese!
  • I had the conspiracy pheasant, but you can pick from free standard toppings for your dog if you don't want to pay an extra $1.25. They even have curry ketchup so you can approximate a curry wurst.
