Foursquare Tips

  • Excellent cocktails here like the Millionaire: bourbon, mandarine napoleon, spiced grenadine, absinthe, angostura, & egg whites.
  • Old-timey dcor and prosecco on tap. Say hello to the two mounted buffalo heads, but just don't call it a speakeasy! Jon has more:
  • Ask for Kirsten. She is the bomb!!!
  • Veggies are fantastic, particularly the squash (and the fries). Chicken got rave reviews. And they have Prosecco on tap!
  • Voted "Best Hipster Brunch" in 2014 by Bitches Who Brunch
  • Will not be returning. Management made us feel as if our tip was not enough and pressured us into leaving a bigger tip and then made us feel uncomfortable to the point where we needed to leave.
  • Top spot on Capitol Hill, Pennsylvania Avenue for farm to table good comforting food and excellent custom cocktails.
  • A must for the craft cocktail enthusiast. Never know who's elbows you'll rub.
  • Impressive chef and bartenders!
  • Lovely dranks.
  • Service is attentive & friendly. Drinks tasty and dessert divine! Try the fudge popsicle (with marshmallow and graham cracker) and yummy apple cake. We'll be back to try dinner sometime soon.
  • Order the Ramos Gin Fizz. It's among few bars that offer it and they have a technique to speed up the process, but be prepared for a 10-15 minute wait.
  • The bartenders truly know their craft. Ordered a Ramos gin fizz (before it got crowded) and had the merengue float so high... with no muffin top. The vibe was chill too
  • You've never had an Old Fashioned like they have here. Ask for Nate.
  • definitely get those beignets to start!!
  • The Rosemint Tea Julep is out of this world good.
  • Vanilla parsnips soup with poached lobster, candied lemons and toasted hazelnuts - amazing
  • Go for brunch. Bottomless mimosas for $14! The bloodies are spicy and the food is delicious. Goat cheese grits, poached eggs, grilled sausage.... Yum!
  • Bar tenders r great. Have the Pinot put on ice for a bit. It's always warm in here.
