  • snag the booth/area in the back right corner (as you are facing the stage). it's darker, easier to whisper and no one can tell you're not paying attention (oops! did i say that?)
  • Nice alternative to Blue Note. You should check the schedule before you go.
  • Try our Poe Tour and learn about the ghosts of Greenwich Village!
  • Zinc Bar exudes an effortless cool that will delight both the jaded and the awestruck. An eclectic group of musicians play each night so there's something different each time you go.
  • Boddingtons, good bar staff, nuff said.
  • Monday nights' with Ron Affif Trio, lots of great jazz guys sit in with him during the later sets.
  • Cozy, intimate place with solid jazz music every night. Very friendly atmosphere. You have the option of skipping the cover charge if you sit @ the bar or in the back.
  • Nice bar, Asian jazz in back room. $7 vodka.
  • First thursdays of the month!
  • Open a tab and chill forever. Talented live jazz
  • The line is really nice!
  • Check out the ghostsofny.com for walking tours of the village!
  • The drinks are h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e! Kettle One dirty martini is served in an unlikely glass w/ the saddest mini olives I've ever seen! I was really counting on the drinks to get me through the live music
  • If you like lychee, try the Birth of Cool. Sweet Davis.
  • Cocktails are ordinary and overpriced. Get a glass of wine!
  • A calm jazz bar within the busy and loud Mcdougal and Thompson Street area
  • Music, bar, atmosphere! You can talk and enjoy the fantastic music!
  • An older crowd, but very intimate and great jazz.
  • Jazz is good. You'll hear it even if you don't go into the back where the artists perform.
  • Romantic, cozy and great cocktails
