Tips

  • When I think about the sacrifices made by past generations, I'm so very grateful that they were able to create a world where The Whiskey Ward exists
  • Hide out here from the patrons of all the other bars in the LES.
  • Get the Lower East Side Sweet Tea. Knock back a couple and you'll wake up wondering what happened.
  • And if you're having a goddamn $3 PBR, order a damn whiskey.
  • Don't order your usual. The whiskey selection is wide, ask the bartender and exit your comfort zone, you will find a new favorite.
  • try the Buffalo Trace bourbon.
  • Great bartenders!!
  • Get the shorty - $7 for a shot of Jameson and a small glass of Guinness .
  • play steely dan on the jukebox. Shona loves steely dan.
  • LES sweet tea is deadly. Tastes like there is no alcohol in it!!
  • Oh man, hard to have only one LES iced tea. Trouble.
  • I mean, they use Imperial as their well whiskey, so you should be coming here.
  • Great selection of whiskey.
  • Old fashioned for a stiff drink. Moscow Mule for a refresher. As other reviewer said, hide from LES madness here.
  • LES Sweet Tea- divine. Fo during the week & chat with your bartender when it's quiet. He'll hook you up & help you out! Plus! Free peanuts :)
  • Scotch whiskey flight. Do it.
  • They have a 16yr Glenlivet, but if you prefer bourbon, we love the Woodford Reserve.
  • Sit down and sip some good boys and girls. Take a flight! LES Sweet Tea always hits the spot as well.
  • Bourbon. LES Iced Tea, ask for it strong. Good beer/shot deal. My kind of joint.
  • Cask scotch deliciousness. Just don't ask for it on the rocks.
