  • This place has history for a lot of people. Have a beer over your next big idea here. I told myself I wanted to move to NYC at this bar, 8 months later I moved down the block without even realizing it
  • No frills, just sharks.
  • Every Wednesday at 5, they serve free hotdogs that've been cooked in beer. So worth it
  • From 5 to 7pm on Wednesdays, get free hot dogs (boiled in a different beer each week!) and fixings.
  • aka: Shark Bar. (I know the shark on the south wall doesn't have any teeth so it looks like it's smiling... but really, like all sharks, it wants to eat you)
  • I met my wife here at the jukebox. The jukebox is gone now but my wife is still here.
  • the 90+ year-old SoHo institution cracks its first beer (mostly American, 12 on tap, 18 by the bottle) at 8 am every day except Sunday, when the Lord is honored with a noon opening & free bagels.
  • Shaaarrkiieee'ssss. Best ever.
  • There is an "iPhone charging station" in the back room (corner next to the window). Yes, it's basically just a bunch of iPhone cables coming out of the wall, but whatever, it's brilliant!
  • Awesome early drinking place. The weekend evenings are full of bridge and tunnel fucks you'll wan to murder.
  • Free bagels on Sundays starting at noon. Great excuse to drink early, as if you needed one.
  • Go to Spring Lounge and try the free bagel brunch on Sunday. FREE bagels people.
  • Best dive bar in Soho/nolita
  • The latino guy is the best!!
  • Solid selection for beer aficionados. Great neighborhood bar atmosphere. Opens at 8am! Shark bar!
  • ...this is aka the Shark Bar, due to the large stuffed sharks! Great Beer selection...
  • Shark bar. Neighborhood staple.
  • Affectionately known as shark bar by the area locals because of the huge painted shark on the brick outside.
  • This is a great place. Laid back, friendly and a great beer selection. Stop every time we're in NYC.
  • been around the world at least twice. this locals bar treated us great , place is awsome.
