Foursquare Tips

  • Get a slowburger. Doesn't matter whether it's the regular, the winter, or the summer... just get one.
  • GET THE Slowburger, each variation is amazing!! If you do not care about carbs get the fries loaded with cheese and ask for bacon!
  • Good late night eats. Go for the southern fry
  • Great atmosphere and delicious food! This place is a no-brainer. Located in the Buckman neighborhood, it's a good spot to hit up before a Rose Quarter event!
  • Dim and red, drinking in Slow Bar is like drinking in a dark room. Of course, natural light wouldn't hurt anything, but few people leave here looking good enough for that.
  • Chef Amy Jermain prepares two versions of her Slowburger; the luxe Spring Slowburger is topped with speck from Italy's Alto Adige region.
  • The pastrami sandwich is awesommme!
  • Don't order the seared tuna salad. It was disgusting.
  • All food is delicious, feel free to order anything. Olives are great!
  • Try the Winter Slow Burger
  • One of my favorite spots for a low-key date night in Portland.
  • Check out the super weird kitty bathroom on the right. Love it.
  • Hubby and I stopped for a lunch. Great summer slow burger, well seasoned and juicy! I love the kind of fries too!
  • Don't think twice, go with the monster Slowburger: 1/2lb. Allen Brothers Angus beef, Gruyere, onion rings, butter lettuce, pickle relish and aioli.
  • Start your meal off right with the Southern Fry: hushpuppies, buttermilk fried Draper Valley chicken, & spicy honey butter.
  • Portland Highball Drink: Blackie Lawless. Jim Beam Black, Black Peppercorn, Pomegranate, Lemon. Open 11:30am.
  • Stinky cheese fries, pulled pork sliders, burgers, & all mixed drinks.
  • One of the best burgers I've ever tasted.
  • The fondue was incredibly delicious.
  • Slow burger and fondue are the bees knees!
