  • Republican bar!
  • Fried pickles! >.<
  • $1.99 Steak Special -- 1941 prices during St. Patrick's Week Celebration! Good Food, Great People, A lot of History.
  • 3rd generation family owned since 1941! Stop by for a burger and beer and take OGaras Shamrock Shuttle to many local sporting and music events.
  • I only got 13 tater tots.
  • $3 pints of Leines Honey Weiss and Summit EPA on Thursday nights until 10pm!
  • Ugly, drunk college kids!
  • Don't be fooled by the pre wrapped food. Go for the menu if you are taking a table.
  • Don't sit in Lisa's section. She's slow, unresponsive, and has an attitude about it! Seriously?!?
  • Happy hour is great and the Shamrock Shuttle to see the Twins and the Vikings was great.
  • Food is good but service can be meh.
  • The margarita I had was amazing! I also had "Irish egg rolls" which were just Reuben fillings in a wonton wrapper, it was hilarious and tasty
  • Went here on a Saturday night...guys "checking" IDs at the door would just let anyone in. As a 24 year old, I felt very old to be there. Everyone looked to be 16 and grinding on each other. AWFUL bar.
  • Shepherd's pie and beer.
  • The Happy Hour prices are pretty reasonable and the Reuben dip is pretty tasty!
  • Looking for a place with a 'local' appeal? This is the place!
  • One of St. Paul's best Irish bars.
  • From blue-collar bar to neighborhood institution to historical landmark, O'Gara's has called its Selby-Snelling intersection home since the early '40s.
  • One of my new favorite places.
  • My last drink was a whisky sour. Not quite satisfied with how the drink was poured. respectfully explained why I was dissatisfied. bartender tried charging me for the remake. Tbh, not happy.
