Tips

  • don't b an idiot
  • Go to Antonio's Nut House and get told off by Kelly.
  • Great for after work. Pitchers of beer, taqueria with decent Mexican food. Pool tables, lively atmosphere, generally good music. $3 margaritas at lunch.
  • Tip your beautiful bartenders
  • If you truly want to sense what it means by people saying that the owner TONY is an ASSHOLE just go there and test it for yourself. He looks like a pig, talks like a pig and acts like a pig!!!
  • OMG Rudest/angriest bartenders ever... Kind of ruin the awesome vibe of this place
  • Free tin cup w/ Moscow Mule 12/9/11!!
  • Throw your nuts on the ground
  • I believe visa would not be happy to hear the nut house upcharges for credit. Prob a violation of the ts and cs.
  • ok. new jukebox does have pogues but it seems a bit on the pricey side. and all those adverts! ugh!
  • Good place for happy hour
  • They are nuts just throwing nuts on the floor
  • It's a great dive bar. Techies and pool sharks. Bring cash unless you want to buy a few rounds, there's a $20 minimum for cards.
  • Super cheap happy hour, lots of bro-grammers, and nut shells EVERYWHERE.
  • An excellent dive in bar. This is probably the only place in the US where you get to throw peanut shells around. There are a couple of pool tables that are always occupied and a Foosball table too.
  • Want to play pool? Write your name on the board for challenge tables 1 & 2 (closest to the bar). Throwing down quarters during a game is rude! Or rent a table and play doubles with your friends.
  • AMAZING food and service. Ask for Kim at the bar shes fantastic
  • Solid prices. Best dive bar around Palo Alto. Not all the waitresses are so nice. The unlimited peanuts is a cool element
  • What is there to sayit's Antonio's Nut House. They serve beer & bad food in a lame atmosphere. Many better dives to choose from on the peninsula (Zott's, Dutch Goose, etc). (1 of 4 petals via Fondu)
  • Good place to meet Steve Jobs
