Tips

  • Impossible to not mention the Black Bear XX Stout, 4x GABF awarded. Ask for Matt (the owner) and invite him to drink a beer with a shot of whiskey! He`ll love it!
  • Top notch in shit service. 15 mins with 4 tables and server seats others and brings their drinks first before cleaning tables and hanging out by the register. Get beer to go and eat elsewhere.
  • Get the bisque, always tasty.
  • Alameda Black Bear XX Stout: Smooth, with rich mocha flavors, this cuddly cub of a stout nuzzles tongues with a milky mix of molasses, toasted nuts, and bitter dark chocolate.
  • Go with the award winning Black Bear stout -
  • Yummmmmm
  • Saturday $5 growler fills. . .plus excellent pub food
  • Not real impressed with the food or staff. The beer was good.
  • The beer is good, the slow service is painful :(
  • Rock crab cakes are fantastic!
  • Hard to leave just one tip - grilled tequila-lime ahi with saffron rice is insane!
  • The house made rootbeer float is to die for!
  • Smoked chicken quesadilla here is the balls.
  • Happy hour + multiple beers on nitro = love
  • Great beer!! Awful service!! And $3 Fanta
  • Was able to stop in for a quick growler fill, pretty good beer and quick service.
  • Family friendly. Taster tray available. Full menu.
  • Yellow Wolf and Black Bear FTW. Food menu looks good but a bit $$$.
  • Service was good. Salad was wilted and brown, dressing tasted like mayo
  • I have been here a couple of different times and have been very happy with the brew and the service. Big variety of beer to choose from and the food is very good as well.
