Foursquare Tips

  • Try the delicious old flaskioned and resist the urge to keep the glass.
  • The Screen Door Slam cocktail is pretty legit! Maker's Mark Bourbon, aperol, honey, vanilla bean, and absinthe. Sweet, delicious, and super easy to drink.
  • Boozy creative cocktails with a strong bourbon and scotch leaning menu. A welcome reprieve from the madness of Macdougal street. The Nampara Cove was an old fashioned riff with pisco and scotch mist.
  • Shaddock smoke cocktail- if you like strong smokiness in your drink. Taste of Chez Juan- refreshing with a hint of ginger. Screendoor slam- bourbon & honey, cant go wrong.Foster Ave-tastes like melon!
  • Negronis in a bottle: great value and delicious and very, very, strong.
  • Cute with giant ice cubes and clever drinks. Great for after dinner with friends or a date.
  • New bar with excellent cocktails with unique presentation. The bartenders are fantastic as well. Highly recommend.
  • This place really captures the flavor of the Village in Manhattan. I went once and look forward to going again.
  • Definitely get the screen door slam cocktail
  • Amazing option in the area if you're into the speakeasy/innovative cocktail scene. Sometimes there's nothing like a Manhattan though (very good here).
  • Order the Peat's Dragon if you're a scotch lover. Say hello to Jacob!
  • Just like all of the other cocktail bars in the City (quality & price) but this one has a cheerful & respectful hostess who helped me and my guest get good seating. Highly impressed. Up & Up, indeed.
  • Try the Screen Door Slam
  • Great new cocktail option in the west village. Super friendly staff and interesting menu. Also, you can get halvsies!
  • Great wallpaper. Interesting concept with bottled cocktails, try them.
  • Seelbach cocktail.
  • It's both a welcome respite from the insanity of NYU land and also chilly weather and blustery winds. Their seasonal menu's got belly warming cocktails like the Conflict Mint ($15).
  • Had a great Manhattan here and tried some of the other cocktails. Great service and really enjoyed not being in a crowded bar where I could talk to someone and enjoy the music playing.
  • The Up and Up has these dope things called 'Halfies'. It's a half-sized cocktail. This is the move for when your friend with the weird stomach issues forces you to get a drink instead of dinner.
  • Great cocktail list! Get the screen door slam cocktail. It's served with bourbon, aperol, honey, vanilla bean & absinthe ;)
