  • Enjoy free WiFi with password cakesandale
  • The lunch-only grain bowl made CL's 100 Dishes to eat before you die, and with an ever-changing composition of honest goodness it's easy to see why.
  • The place is great, clean. The quality of the menu is obvious, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable,and very polite.
  • There's an unmistakable warming comfort in the tagine brought on by the intoxicating play of cumin, fennel, coriander and peppers.
  • The sandwich cookie: perhaps God's greatest baked creation. Forget Oreos.
  • Try the egg nog macaroons...Awesome:)
  • The seasonal grain bowl rotates often and is quite filling, even for a carnivore
  • Have a coffee and a piece of cake!!
  • The arancini from their snack menu, which is available after 2:30pm, is soo good.
  • They do a free wine tasting 3-5pm on Saturdays.
  • Counter Culture Coffee and cheddar+ scones - a perfect way to start the day! Of course, everything at Cakes & Ale and the Bakery is delicious. Also delicious is the London Fog.

  • Need place to sit and work. Great pour over coffee. Salads are heavily dressed so get on side
  • If you prefer tea over coffee, I highly recommend the London Fog (Earl Grey latte with a bit of lavender syrup).
  • Though far from vegetarian, the menu lets vegetables in season call the shots and determine the flavors in nearly every dish.
  • Can you say "ham & cheese croissants" just like Homer Simpsons says "doughnuts?"
  • Perfect for coffee and a pastry.
  • Gnoche cheesecake and mudslide cookies.
  • Apparently no longer open on Sundays although this information is nowhere to be found. Thanks a lot!
