Tips

  • I wouldn't call this a dive bar unless dive means awesome.
  • Stop barfing next to the toilet!
  • It's NOT a cafe! It's a craft beer pub!!!
  • Best beer bar in the neighborhood by far. And. Stop wearing jean shorts.
  • When you order wine the female bartender that works here always fills your glass right to the rim!! :)
  • A four menu pages of beers is a bar that you don't want to miss
  • I live in the attic
  • Lots of cider and lambic choices for people like myself who don't usually like the taste of traditional beers. And lots of other beers for people who love beer.
  • The beer is crunchy. Best be wise and drink what's on cask. ;)
  • An amazing selection of beer, but don't tell anyone about this place. It is remarkably wanker-free at this time.
  • Great beer selection!
  • Tip jenn and ask her about her art! Then buy some!
  • Best beer selection I've ever seen. The Serpent's Stout is out of this world. This is by far my favorite bar in SF.
  • The "Duchess" sour beer is amazing.
  • Ask Kellie (the one who most likely is behind the bar) for tastes of what's on tap. She's always willing to give out tastes so you can find the beer you want!
  • If you are sitting at the bar, turnaround, the beer list is behind you.
  • Decent selection of craft beers, relaxed crowd and outdoor-ish seating
  • Always offering a fantastic beer selection, Amsterdam is one of my favorite beer spots in SF. If they have the Habanero infused Sculpin IPA from Ballast when you visit, I highly recommend it.
  • Craft beer wonderland! 3$ nights! Barkeep really knows her beers, taste, brewery and everything!
  • I Love this Place.
