  • As far as I am concerned, it is the best Jewish deli in New York. My order never changes: piping hot matzoh ball soup, pastrami on rye, extra mustard, extra (full sour) pickles on the side, black cher

  • Pastrami sandwich is incredible w some mustard on the side. Matza soup is the best I have had. V friendly service too.
  • A perfect lunch to split for two the best Matzoh Ball Soup in the city, followed by Pastrami on Rye and pickles on the side.
  • Pastrami, corned beef, & roast beef are all top-notch sandwiches. I'd say pick 1 or try a combo.
  • Would you believe you get a shot of an egg cream with the check?
  • So nice to have a deli that offers a half sandwich and soup.
  • The best vinegar-based Cole slaw ever.
  • A truly classic NYC institution. The most Jewish of Jewish delis you'll find. It's not the same as it was when it was downtown on 2nd Ave, but the food is still pretty damn good.
  • Pastrami sandwich and matzo ball soup
  • This kosher delicatessen is a NYC institution. Cold-cut sandwiches come stacked and favorites like blintzes, knishes and potato pancakes taste just like Mom's.
  • Soup and half sandwich is more than enough.
  • Brisket sandwich w a side of gravy. Do it. Pastrami is super legit as well.
  • I seriously can't believe they took the meatballs off the menu. They were so good.
  • Try the white fish salad! It's the best I've had in the city yet.
  • GET THE PASTRIMI !!!!!
  • The pastrami on rye is excellent here, and be sure to try their onion rings...
