Foursquare Tips

  • On 3/6/12, I was here to outline how NYC's restaurant grading system has been good for public health and the City's economy:
  • Serves some of the best Pizza and Italian on Arthur Avenue. Try the La San Matteo or the Polpettine Polenta E Caprino. The service here is amazing.
  • Best pizza in the Bronx
  • Chicken cutlet, pizza, and meatballs were incredible. Be careful signing the check because the pen could ruin your shirt.
  • Best Food Ever
  • Check out Zero Otto Nove as seen on Bite This with Nadia G
  • Pizza was awesome
  • Get the mafalde e ceci - a delicate dish made with fresh ribbon noodles, chickpeas and pancetta, sprinkled lovingly with toasted breadcrumbs and a dash of pecorino cheese.
  • Many restaurants were about to close except Zero Otto Nove.We were so Lucky! The staff was excellent and the risotto and mixed seafood entree I had was delish! The other person had steak with greens
  • The Pizza and the atmosphere is outrageous!
  • "This is traditional pizza, the way it has been made in the Old Country for hundreds of years...You can take deep-dish pizza and throw it in the Gowanus Canal with all the other trash"
  • Try the Zuppa di Carcarro (butternut squash soup) was the best. Squisito!
  • Nutella pizza!!!!!
  • The Diavola pie is fantastic. Slightly spicy soppressata, high quality mozz. Awesome.
  • you really can't go wrong here - whether pasta, meat, or fish dishes. the menu is very inventive, the service great. the tirimisu is amazing!
  • Try the La Cirilo. It's butternut squash puree, cream of truffle, mushrooms & fresh mozzarella. I studied in Italy, and this is the best pasta I've ever tasted...
  • Great pizza, fast service.
  • Eggplant Parmigiana was the best I've had.
  • The meatballs and polenta were outstanding. We had a rigatoni special that was the best bowl of pasta I've had outside of Italy.
  • Zuppa di Pesce is a winner and pizza for an appetizer is also very good. We will be going back here when we are in the Bronx. Right across the street from Teitel Bros. which is a great store.
