• Aslihan Sabanci has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas University and a joint MBA from Cornell University, USA and the Università Bocconi, Italy. She holds Master certificates in the Essentials of Hospitality, Foodservice Management and a Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University, New York. Aslihan was crowned Miss Turkey and the ‘European Queen of Beauty’ in 1991. She also won the award for ‘Best Health and Nutrition Book’ at the 2012 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. She currently lives in Istanbul with her husband and three children.
Her cookbook Gluten Free Gourmet Mediterranean Cuisine was recently named “Best Health and Nutrition Book” at the 2012 Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in Paris, France.
