Foursquare Tips

  • Go to Tin Fish and wait in line for an hour. Order a fish taco and ask for it w/o cheese (gross). Share a table with a family that has a bratty 5 year old and screaming baby. Jump into Lake Calhoun.
  • Get the homemade chips and salsa! The best
  • Just eat the fish tacos. Any of them. Amazing.
  • Good food but the lady owner is extremely rude
  • The fresh lemonade is delicious.
  • Slow slow slow! Get a helper for cashier for sides and drinks.
  • If you don't want to wait in line for the wonderful fish tacos, grab a beer instead. The line for beer is fast but they make you buy a snack with it. Bag of peanuts is only $0.50.
  • Make sure to rent a paddle board next door :)
  • The line is always long. Go to the express beer and wine window, grab a snack and a beer for the wait, by the time you order you will have a proper buzz on!
  • Free wifi!
  • If the line stretches to the fence, budget at least 45 minutes to get your food.
  • The mini tin platter is one of the best deals in the city- and has one of the best views.
  • If it is summer time you may want to call ahead and see if they are actually cooking food.
  • The waffle fries are BEE YOO tiful. And they come faster than a lot of the entrees.
  • Get a beer and then wait in line for food.
  • Locally sourced fish is difficult to find but it shows up here! Walleye is a great lakes fish and ponga is an invasive species in these parts and tastes yum!!
  • Fish and chips was outstanding. The boyfriend had the tilapia sandwich and loved it. Will return.
  • Fish taco's
  • Ce vice is awesome and the tacos will never let you down.
  • Had the fried Fish and Chips today; wow...that fish was some of the best tasting I have ever eaten. Well done Tun Fish!!
