Tips

  • This dine-in Mexican spot, a rarity in San Francisco, is an especially good place for brunch. Breakfast is served all day, and we adore the chilaquiles Veronica, named after an employee.
  • Chilaquiles Veronica = food coma
  • Get potato flautas and ask for a side of queso fresco. Amazing dish.
  • Order a side of avocado with your chilaquiles: yum.
  • 7x7's Big Eat 2012 says Friday's pozole is delicious. Yum!
  • Get the enchiladas. And the sangria. Dang.
  • Traci Des Jardins, chef of Jardinire, eats here on her nights off. She loves the Pozole.
  • Basically the best place in SF for "hangover brunch". Get the chilaquiles (no fresh onion), side of avocado & one Mexican Coca Cola or Aqua Mineral w/ lime (it's extra bubbly/salty mineral water).
  • Does glass translate to pimpcup in Spanish cuzzzz thas what I gots when I asked for a glass of sangria! Hollllerrrrr. The sangria was perfectly sweet and tasty, must come back for food next time:)
  • Mariscada are the best!!!
  • Chilaquiles Veronica are on 7x7's Big Eat 2013.
  • Everything is delish, my favorite place to have Mexican breakfast.
  • Birria on the weekends! Decor has been refreshed, too - it's a great place to take friends.
  • chilaquiles are one of the best meals ive had in SF
  • Birria de Chivo y Menudo de lo mejor que hemos probado, tortillas hechas a mano y micheladas son lo mejor para la cruda! If you cant read Spanish dont worry about it just know this place is awesome!
  • The Birra Seca (grilled lamb) is juicy, spicy, and great!
  • Amazing breakfast chilaquiles Veronica & chorizo con heuvos are amazing. Read more: www.jill-topia.com
  • San Jalisco has your hangover covered in multiple ways on the weekend including some great chilaquiles, a selection of more Euro-style omelettes, and the traditional spicy tripe soup known as menudo.
  • Chilaquiles Veronica and menudo for weekend brunch
  • Get the birria!
