Tips
- One of the best Cajun Breakfasts this far north. Eat one in one sitting.
- Wait for friends riding the light-rail
- Great food and service close to park with water falls. Caps is right next to light rail stop and park is right across road. A must if your looking to kill a couple of hours.
- Do the Dueces!
- You can easily get here from the Hiawatha light rail line.
- Awful barbecue pork. Do not order.
- Best pork chops anywhere and sauce so good I love to drink a couple shots of it
- Excellent ribs, no alcohol though
- Great bet: Bootlegger w fries; the sandwich is a great value and the fries always come out right
- Bootlegger = great. Stacker = great (enough for 2 people). Chicken tenders are excellent too. Much better than Famous Dave's and less expensive.
- The best is the turkey sammich with no tomato but with cheese!
- The bootlegger with coleslaw, ask for a ream of napkins! Extra bbq. Do not eat, and then operate heavy machinery
- Ask for the Mickey Mouse pancake if you have kids...
- The "Stacker" is a meal for two, and definitely doesn't disappoint! Highly recommend!
- If you dare get the Stacker, BE HUNGRY, it's enough for 2 ppl but Soooo good.
- The sandwich is the Bootlegger, a smoked brisket is hard to find in Minneapolis. This family owned company beats all the Famous Dave's and other clutter our cities offer. Oh, and it's cheap.
- If you're going for the Stacker be sure to get it Tennessee style, topped with coleslaw baby!
