Foursquare Tips

  • The food is pickle-centric-- with a big selection from the Brooklyn Brine factory right around the corner. Try the extra-hot "Fire Scapes" and five-spice ramps.
  • The ricotta sandwich had the right ratio of bread (Runner & Stone sesame seed) to filling, and the vegetables successfully stood up to the oozing and abundant ricotta.
  • Amazing veggie burger! The patty is delicious! And great draft beers too!
  • The warm farro salad is delicious and will make you feel better about having a beer with lunch.
  • Superb veggie burger. Really really really superb.
  • Cornmeal fried oyster mushrooms provide just enough crunch for your (satisfying) munch.
  • The bahn mi with smoked tofu is incredible. So is the deli pickle that comes with it
  • The waitress said they make the veggie burger by cooking down a mixture of mushrooms, beets, and other vegetables, canning the mix, steaming it, then slicing it into patties. Holy shit it was amazing.
  • Bahn Mi is good but impossible to get your hands around.
  • The vegetarian joint you don't have to be ashamed to take your omnivorous friends to.
  • You can't go wrong with pickles. And fresh veggies. And beer. You just can't.
  • Some say it's the best veggie burger in the world
  • Interesting concept... A lot of healthy items on this menu. Check out the patio out back!
  • Yum! Fried pickles and delicious homemade ketchup! Who'd have thought?
  • Quiet on a weeknight, spacious, and a good beer selection. Fried Mushrooms with Honey were a highlight.
  • The veggie burger is amazing.
  • Great beer selection, and get the fried pickles.
  • Check out the covered "backyard" seating.
  • You don't have to like pickles to like this joint.
  • Vegetarian food is good here, duh
