Once referred to as “the tincture of the South Seas” by Marlon Brando, Tetiaroa is a beautiful French Polynesian island 30 miles northeast of Tahiti. Desert climate isn’t often assumed to be ideal for a relaxing resort vacation, but Dar Ahlam is one of many Moroccan resorts that disproves that assumption. Shaded by palm trees and lounging among well-kept and fragrant gardens, guests can witness North Africa’s beauty and culture. There are no restaurants here, but rather dozens of areas both indoors and outdoors where private meals can be organized at your leisure. The gourmet menus include traditional Moroccan cuisine combined with the latest in culinary innovation.
