Philadelphia's Top Chefs Host FEASTIVAL
Philadelphia's top chefs are co-hosting the third annual FEASTIVAL, a fundraiser benefiting the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe, Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Pier 9. Some 75 restaurants, including Bibou, Blackfish, Buddakan, El Vez, and Shake Shack, will serve food at the event.
Stephen Starr of Starr Restaurants, Michael Solomonov of Zahav, and Audrey Claire Taichman of Audrey Claire and COOK (a collaborative kitchen-classroom that offers dinner-hour cooking classes) will host the event, which includes tastings, an auction, and live performances.
Restaurants set to serve their signature dishes include 10 Arts by Eric Ripert, which is serving roasted pork belly and cream grits with dashi sauce; Fork which is serving its seared Hawaiian kampachi with whipped ginger crème fraîche, pickled peaches and habanero, charred red onions and olive oil roasted almonds and mint; and Miss Rachel's Pantry is serving its lobster mushroom mac and cheese.
Tickets are $250 and VIP tickets are $350, which include early admission, an auction preview, private chef demonstrations, and bar service.
