In A Galaxy Far, Far Away, This Is What Your Favorite 'Star Wars' Characters Are Eating

In a galaxy far, far away, the last thing on everyone's mind is food. While the rebel alliance is preoccupied with blowing up the Death Star, we're wondering what fuels our favorite Jedi knight's energy that makes their force so strong.

We've examined key food scenes in the Star Wars saga to determine what our favorite characters are consuming. And while you can't find Banthas on Earth to produce blue milk for your Star Wars party, you can certainly cook up similar Star Wars food items to prepare for Episode VII's premiere on December 18.

Chewbacca

We can assume from Episode VI: Return of the Jedi that Wookiees like to eat dead animals when Chewbacca finds a strange dead monkey-like animal on Endor and is intrigued. We've concluded that any Wookiee would love this meaty venison burger.

Jabba the Hutt

As Jabba sits on his throne, he enjoys eating a live animal that looks like a cross between a crawfish and a frog in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Cook a pot of crawfish to dine like Jabba.

Luke

Luke would most likely be consuming little snacks like granola bars, which he's seen eating a variation of multiple times. He would also probably be drinking blue milk, which is seen in the very first food scene of the Star Wars saga on Tatooine when Luke sits down to eat with his Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. Make your own granola to eat while you're watching the new Star Wars movie.

Yoda

Yoda would most certainly be chowing down on some root leaf stew, which he gives to Luke on Dagobah in The Empire Strikes Back. Luke doesn't particularly like the stew, but our guess is that our little green friend would still be cooking this over his fire. Cook up some thick stew, so you can dine like Yoda.
