We asked our trusty sommeliers and wine experts to handpick wines, cava, and sparkling wines to toast our moms with this Mother's Day, and much as we discovered when picking wines for each week of 2013, you'll find lots of light spring wines that fit the bill perfectly for this time of year. There are lots of sauvignon blancs (including picks from Wine Spectator), chardonnay, and even some white varietals you've probably never heard of. And for moms who can't get enough of red wines, may we recommend a lighter red wine, like a lambrusco, that is the perfect fit for spring.
