Where to Find the Best Breakfast in Las Vegas

Staff Writer
Vegas has great early morning options on and off the Strip

The scenic Country Club at The Wynn has one of the best breakfasts in Las Vegas.

You awaken from your deep Las Vegas slumber with hunger pangs.

“Wait,” you say. “Did I even eat last night?

Sometimes this culinary mega city can have that effect on visitors and locals alike. You pull back the curtains and admire yet another cloudless day and the famed Strip coming to life. Resort after resort on both sides of the Strip feature many tasty offerings to start your day, so how do you choose? Worry not! We did the work for you. Here are our choices for the 10 breakfast picks to enjoy on and off the Strip.

1. Bouchon at the Palazzo Resort

You can’t go wrong with chef Thomas Keller offering anything so why not breakfast?  Enjoy a classic French toast and sip your coffee while overlooking a quiet pristine pool for the ultimate way to start your day.

2. MTO Café

Downtown Las Vegas is really hopping with many locally owned venues to tantalize your palette. To get a healthy start, MTO Café is a must for breakfast. Fresh, farm-to-table fare is the word here.

3. Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace Resort

Bacchanal is a great choice any time of day but breakfast here will certainly please your cravings. Whatever you are in the mood for you will find it here. This is NOT your usual buffet, sit back with a Bloody Mary and enjoy the morning.

4. Jean Phillipe Patisserie at the Bellagio and Aria Resorts

For those with a busy day planned Jean Phillipe is a fantastic choice. Grab a delicious fresh pasty to go and continue with your day.

5. The Country Club at The Wynn Resort

If it's Sunday, that means some really special brunch choices at the Wynn. You will enjoy live jazz, a golf course and of course a meal you will soon not forget.

6. Buddy V’s at the Palazzo Resort

“The Cake Boss” shows he is about much more than cake at Buddy V's. We have called this Sunday brunch the best in the city and that is saying a lot. The entire venue is an overload of fresh Italian fare. Make your own Bloody Mary and enjoy a wonderful view of the strip.

7. Mon Ami Gabi at the Paris Resort

This is the perfect venue to people watch. Choose your table on their strip side patio, enjoy a pastry or an omelet and spend the morning watching the world go by.

8. Du-Par's Restaurant and Bakery at the Golden Gate Hotel

Du-Par is a local favorite and a perfect way to start your day exploring the revived Downtown district. You must try their corned beef hash!

9. The Peppermill Restaurant & Fireside Lounge

Breakfast is always fun and you can enjoy it here 24 hours a day. This classic Vegas “old school” restaurant has plush booths. The décor is kind of quirky but the eggs Benedict makes it all worth a visit.

10. Patisserie Manon

Off the strip, there is none better than Manon. They make everything in house, and it shows. You must try their quiche and croque madame. Don’t forget to take home a warm baguette for later.

We have heard that expression, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” for years. Some like a big boisterous beginning to their day and others prefer a more subtle way to awaken the palate. No matter which start you prefer, Las Vegas has something for you to enjoy.
