Hands on Harvest Experience in Napa
Round Pond Estate, a family owned vineyard in Napa, is offering a Hands on Harvest experience where guests can work alongside the winemaking team and hand pick and sort grapes, test levels, learn about barrel aging, and attend a wine tasting.

Brewers Workout and LA Craft Beer Crawl
On August 13, the 7th annual LA Craft Beer Crawl will take place in downtown LA featuring a variety of brewers and craft brew tasting. Directly prior to the event, guests can experience a “Brewer’s Workout” fitness class.

Eureka! Hosts Steal the Glass Event
On August 17, Eureka! Restaurant in Hawthorne will host a Steal the Glass event. Guests who purchase Rogue’s Honey Kolsch or Marionberry’s Braggot beers will receive a free branded glass to take home.

GastroMagic Culinary Entertainment Stage at Outside Lands Music Festival

TLT Food Opens in Pasadena
On August 11, TLT Food a brick and mortar concept from chef Daniel Shemtob’s Lime Truck, will open in Pasadena. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the menu will feature street food inspired dishes.

Hey 19 Public House Launches Sunday Supper Seafood Broil
On August 28, Torrance’s Hey 19 Public House will launch a new East Coast style Sunday supper seafood broil for $19. A special cocktail menu will also be offered.

Celebrate National Root Beer Float Day at Holy Cow BBQ
Holy Cow BBQ will be offering alcoholic and nonalcoholic versions of root beer floats for National Root Beer Float Day on August 6.

Celebrate National Oyster Day at LA Restaurants
Head to Herringbones in Santa Monica, Café La Boheme in West Hollywood, and Ocean Prime in Beverly Hills for $1 oysters during happy hour and dinner service and Ivory on Sunset for a half dozen oysters for $21 in honor of National Oyster Day on August 5.

World Gyoza Eating Championship
On Saturday, August 20, Day Lee Foods will host the 10th annual World Gyoza Eating Championship at the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center in Little Tokyo from 2p.m.-4p.m.

Summer Pop Up Series at Plant Food + Wine in Venice
Plant Food + Wine in Venice will host a Far East inspired plant based pop-up from July 28- August 7.

The Counter Offers Healthy Summer Dining Options
This summer, burger chain The Counter is launching an all natural healthy “Titan” bison dish in conjunction with four time Mr. Universe Mike” Titan”  O’Hearn. The dish features free range bison, bacon, avocado, and an egg over a bed of spinach and quinoa. Guests who share their own fresh green creation photo on social media with the hashtag #crEATeNaturally have a chance to win a 30-minute training session with Mr. O’Hearn and a $100 gift card.

Lucques Hosts All American Rib Fest
On Sunday, August 21, Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne will host their 16th Annual All American Summer Rib Fest featuring slow cooked ribs, hot wings, and sides at Lucques for $55 per person.

Italy Comes to Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at the Beverly Wilshire
A new family style Italian menu has launched at CUT restaurant in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The menu will be available through September 15.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Launches Nitro Cold Brew
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has launched a new Nitro Cold Brew, a special blend of Bali Blue Moon and Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffees steeped for 20 hours and then infused with nitrogen to create a silky finish. Also available are Nitro Cold Brew lattes and vanilla bean lattes.
