Competitive Eating Champ Joey Chestnut Launches Line Of Condiments

Competitive eaters aren't usually thinking about the toppings and spreads on the eats they devour — instead, they're all about the speed. But now eating contest champion Joey Chestnut has launched a new line of condiments, and through July 6, all online profits will go to help America's military caregivers.

"I have the greatest job in the world and my life revolves around my love for food — particularly devouring hot dogs," said Chestnut in a statement. "This love led me to develop a line of high-quality, American-made condiments created specifically for America's most beloved foods."

Chestnut's condiment line includes Classic Boardwalk Coney Sauce, Spicy Firecracker Mustard, and Deli-Style Mustard, all sold in 12.25-ounce bottles that cost $5 each. Through July 6, all profits from condiments purchased online at JoeyChestnut.com will be donated to Hidden Heroes, a campaign of the Elizabeth Dole Foundation that seeks to aid military caregivers.

"Honoring our nation's heroes and their caregivers is a cause very important to me — especially on Independence Day," said Chestnut in the statement.

July 4 is a big day for Chestnut, as he'll be competing in the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest. He's won 10 of the last 11, consuming 72 dogs and buns in 2017. And while we wait to see if he can hold on to the title, check out this slideshow of America's tastiest eating competitions.
