The Cast-Iron Cookware Brand To Look For At HomeGoods This Fall 2026
Whether you're frying up eggs, baking cornbread or searing a steak to perfection, cast-iron cookware should be your go-to for its durability, versatility, and heat retention. The cookware lasts for generations, and while some top-quality pans cost a pretty penny, you don't need to spend a fortune to get a good one. HomeGoods carries a variety of high-end kitchen cookware, from Le Creuset to Caraway, but it's cast-iron company Smith & Clark that's been making waves recently at the discount chain.
Smith & Clark is a California-based company that sells an extensive line of cast iron cookware, from Dutch ovens to griddle pans, skillets, and slow cookers. While most of its bigger cast-iron pots range from $40 to $70, HomeGoods is carrying a few of the brand's items for as low as $14.99. The cookware brand's spooky seasonal line is having the biggest moment on social media. Just in time for Halloween, the discount retailer is selling Smith & Clark's vampire cast-iron loaf pan, cast-iron Dutch ovens with spiders, skeleton hands, a witch hat, or a snake, and pumpkin-shaped cocottes. Of course, no spooky kitchen tool line would be complete without cauldrons for brewing up tasty treats. And Smith & Clark's collection of cast-iron cauldrons at HomeGoods has cast a zombie-like spell over the Halloween-obsessed, sending them racing to the store to grab one.
Something wicked is brewing
By far the most popular, that's causing a hair-raising frenzy, is the cast-iron black cauldron with an oozing lime-green slime-bubbling lid. "Hoping to only use it for soups, stews, and potions (for use against my enemies)," joked one Reddit user who found it at their local HomeGoods store for $40. Some shoppers have scooped it up for as low as $35.
The cauldrons have gone viral on social media. "I mentioned the cauldron to my mom, and she literally had the whole family looking for it for me," said one TikTok commenter on a video about the bubbling cauldron. "I did in fact score one." Pre-seasoned and made in a midnight black finish, the bubbling cauldrons cost between $50 and $60 on Smith & Clark's website, depending on size. It offers four-quart and six-quart options. And it's already sold out. Second-market sites like eBay and Poshmark already list this Halloween item for more than its value, from $80 to $280.
HomeGoods also sells purple and black cauldrons from the brand that come with a lid and a handle, enameled shiny black cauldrons, and a five-quart slow-cooker cauldron. "I set an alarm and was lucky enough to not only get one {slow-cooker}, but I also found one of their cauldrons today at HomeGoods," said one shopper in the Halloween Decorating Club Facebook group. Perhaps you can put a hex on your current cast-iron in hopes of finding this bubbling spooky on your next HomeGoods trip.
