Rugs might not be the first thing that come to mind when considering kitchen décor, but a properly placed rug can make a kitchen feel warm, inviting, and pulled together. However, a kitchen rug needs to do more than look pretty. It also needs to be functional, providing a soft and supportive spot under foot while prepping meals or washing dishes after a long day. Plus, it needs to stand up to daily foot traffic, crumbs, and the occasional spill (maybe more than occasional for some). This means thoughtful details like non-slip backing and easy-to-clean fabrics can be especially important.

We've collected five beautiful rugs that not only dress up a space but have also been designed to survive the wear and tear of a busy home kitchen. Ranging from unassuming neutrals to vibrant patterns, these kitchen rugs are workhorses that will not only look good but also survive everyday life.

With seven different design options, GENIMO Anti Fatigue Kitchen Mats come in a set of two for just $29.99. One five-star Amazon review summed these mats up succinctly, "Pretty pattern and good color. Very cushiony underfoot. Love that they're easy to wipe clean with a wet sponge!"
