What's Your Beef Fundraiser Is Back!
On Thursday, March 13th, starting at 5:45 p.m. with a VIP reception, join the Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) for their third annual What's Your Beef? fundraiser.
This event, which fills the BCAE in the South End, bringing upwards of 200 people every year, celebrates and promotes beef in all of its glory, from head to hoof.
Nine of Boston's greatest chefs will each tackle a different part of the beast to show just how delicious and versatile an animal it is. But this is only half of the fun: Because this is also a fundraiser, your ticket will not only buy you a spot at this beefy celebration, but proceeds will go toward raising funds for the BCAE and the Jordan S. Ruboy M.D. Financial Aid Program, an affiliate organization of the BCAE that provides vouchers and scholarships for those who cannot afford to experience the incredible classes and lectures the BCAE has to offer.
If these two reasons are not enough to grab a ticket ($80 regular, $125 for VIP, and $200 for chef's table – these prices are below 2013 ticket prices!), consider this rock star lineup of chefs:
Michael Scelfo of Alden and Harlow,
Karen Akunowicz of Myers + Chang,
Jason Bond of Bondir,
Tiffani Faison of Sweet Cheeks,
Matthew Gaudet of West Bridge,
Michael Leviton of Area Four,
Sam Monsour of #True28 (previously of JM Curley),
Kevin O'Donnell of The Salty Pig,
and Roxy's Grilled Cheese,
So get your beef on for the best of causes! Tickets can be purchased here and are going fast!
