Shake Shack Coming To DUMBO, Brooklyn

Every week it seems as if there's some new Shake Shack news to report, from new locations being announced to new locations opening, and from a change in the fry recipe to an ambiguous tweet from CEO Randy Garutti. And this week is no different: Fans of the beloved Danny Meyer-helmed chain will be glad to know that the company announced via Facebook Wednesday morning that their next new location will be opening in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood, on the corner of Old Fulton and Water Street, right near the waterfront. Here's the full announcement:

"Amazing views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan skyline? We're in! Shake Shack is coming to the Brooklyn neighborhood of DUMBO in mid-2014. Situated near Brooklyn Bridge Park along the East River waterfront, the Shack will be located at One Old Fulton Street (corner of Water Street). Let's do this DUMBO!"

This new location is right down the block from the famed Grimaldi's Pizza, and walking distance from their nearest other location, which is in Downtown Brooklyn. Another is slated to open by the Barclays Center, too. When is too much Shake Shack too much Shake Shack? Never, we say!
