Practically Free Last-Minute DIY Halloween Costumes

Great Halloween costumes are a work of art. They take months of planning, are totally witty, and really make you stand out at a Halloween party. But for those of us with a hectic schedule, planning and plotting the perfect Halloween costume isn't in the cards. But if you want a totally genius Halloween costume without the hassle, and don't want to buy one, there are plenty of ways

Grapes

Have purple, green, or red clothing? Blow up some color coordinating balloons and tape them to yourself. Instant grapes!

Jack-o-Lantern

Do you have an orange t-shirt? Great, all you need now is to cut out the eyes and mouth of your jack-o-lantern and tape them to your shirt. You could even wear a green hat to go the extra mile for a stem.

M&M

Pick your favorite color t-shirt. Draw or print out a letter "m" and tape it onto your shirt. You're officially an M&M.

Bag of Jelly Beans

If you happen to have a clear trash bag, cut four holes in it for your legs and arms and step inside. Before you tie it off around your shoulders, blow up multicolored water balloons (with air, not water!) and throw them in the bag.
