Modern Sophistication Of Eras Past
Located in the glitzy Cosmopolitan, one of the newest additions to the impressive Las Vegas strip skyline, Vesper Bar harkens back to the trendiest era of the moment, the 1960's.
Vesper is housed in the lobby of the hotel, which makes it the perfect place to kick off a long night without having to pay a cover. The menu consists mostly of signature house cocktails, like the Country Time Lemonade, a variation on the Lynchburg Lemonade, or the Mayan — a potent concoction of Wild Turkey rye, Amaro Meletti, cinnamon-fig-infused vermouth, Angostura bitters, Aztec chocolate bitters, and a touch of cayenne (not one for the faint of heart).
This is a great bar for people watching, given the open location and seats facing out to the lobby. A grand chandelier hangs above the bar, creating a shimmering effect that bathes imbibers in a warm glow. Between the handmade cocktails, ethereal lighting, and plenty of room to sit and sip, Vesper makes it easy to see why Las Vegas has such a glamorous reputation.
