Restaurateur Steve Cook and chef Michael Solomonov, the Philadelphia culinary team known as Cook and Solo, have officially signed the lease for a space within Chelsea Market in New York City, as evidenced by a new license application for "DZGF2, D/B/A Dizengoff LLC."

At home in Philly, the team's restaurants include Zahav, Percy Street Barbecue, Federal Donuts, Abe Fisher, and Dizengoff. Earlier this month, the team published their first-ever cookbook, Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking

As for their upcoming New York City location, it would appear that the team is looking to open a smaller outpost of Dizengoff, a hummus shop. A hearing for a liquor license for Dizengoff New York is scheduled for November 10.

According to Philly.com, Cook and Solo are hoping to open their Chelsea Market kiosk within the next three months and continue to scout expansion opportunities outside Philadelphia for Federal Donuts, their well-loved doughnuts and fried chicken restaurant.
