The Mario Batali Foundation Will Host Fourth Annual Fundraiser At New York City's Del Posto
The Mario Batali Foundation (MBF) will host its annual Honors Dinner on Sunday, October 18 to serve its mission of ensuring children are "well read, well fed, and well cared for."
The fourth annual fundraiser will recognize the work of Gretchen Witt, founder and trustee of Cookies for Kids' Cancer, a national non-profit foundation fighting pediatric cancer by donating its proceeds to supporting the development of safer, more effective cancer treatments for children.
Mario Batali is personally looking forward to the event, explaining, "I am so happy to be honoring Gretchen — a tireless and fearless champion of fighting childhood cancer. This will definitely be a night to remember."
Limited to just 180 guests, the event will be held in the newly renovated private dining room at Del Posto. The dinner will be co-hosted by actor John C. Reilly and will feature words from comedian Jim Gaffigan and music by Billy Strings & Don Julin. Guests will feast on a four-course Italian dinner created by Batali and Del Posto's James Beard Award-winning executive chef Mark Ladner.
