Marc Djozlija And Dave Kwiatkowski Unveil Café 78 At MOCAD
The Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MOCAD) is pleased to announce that Café 78 — a collaboration between the museum, Dave Kwiatkowski (owner of The Sugar House and Wright & Company), and Marc Djozlija (former executive chef of The Wolfgang Puck Group; current co-owner and chef of Wright & Company) — is now open six days per week.
Café 78 will operate beyond MOCAD's hours with coffee and breakfast service that includes drip, pour-over, and espresso from Anthology Coffee and sweet and savory pastries from Pinwheel Bakery starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. on weekends. At 11 a.m. the menu will transition from breakfast to a lunch and dinner service of snacks, soups, salads, and sandwiches created by James Beard Award-nominated chef Marc Djozlija. Additionally, the eatery features a full bar serving beer, wine, and cocktails crafted by Sugar House-trained bartenders.
Café 78 is open Tuesday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
