Atlanta, Get Ready To Brunch All Night!
Jeff Dauler and Jenn Hobby, the dynamic duo of radio hosts for Star 94.1's morning show are hosting something different on Saturday, June 17, at Terminal West from 8 p.m. to midnight. Along with their usual cast of morning show characters, Jeff and Jenn are throwing a brunch party... at night! Their second annual "Brunch All Night" event offers cocktail hour, dinner, and a girls' night out all in one. According to Jeff, "This is a great girls' night out. But, if you're a guy, you're a fool not to come." (Something about the ratio being very advantageous!)
The event will offer brunch tastings from a wide array of Taste of Atlanta restaurants, including Callie's Hot Little Biscuit — the local biscuit expert — and Tupelo Honey Cafe — a newcomer on the Atlanta scene with a brunch menu that has ATLiens lining up. Callie's will serve a biscuit bar with a selection of mini biscuits, including shortcake, buttermilk, and cheese and chive. Tupelo Honey Cafe will feature a Southern classic, shrimp and grits, which Jeff admitted to me he is particularly excited to try.
Additionally, Twisted Soul will have a loaded, decadent hash brown bar and The Mercury will serve up savory pork grillades and grits. Davio's (fresh waffles!), Hampton & Hudson, and Atlanta Breakfast Club will also serve up delectable brunch samplings. Atlanta Breakfast Club's brunch — a French toast pork belly taco, fresh egg, and warm maple syrup — will certainly be a must-eat.
Jeff recommends eating several small meals throughout the night. Between all of the tasty dishes, partiers can venture to the bar and try specialty cocktails that, in Jeff's words, "should be fantastic." Brunchees can also dance to live music selections from DJ Applesauce and musical performances from Tom Walker of Epic Records, and James TW of Island Records. It will certainly be an epic night of food and fun.
