Get 100 Oysters For $100 At Toronto's Pearl Diner

Throughout the year, a number of restaurants around Toronto host "buck-a-shuck" oyster nights. However, there's only one restaurant you can count on to throw this eating challenge every Thursday for its loyal customers. The deal? Oysters are only $1 each, but only when ordered in increments of 100.

Challenge accepted.

Pearl Diver is located steps away from Toronto's financial district, which makes it a very popular spot for after-work drinks and bites. Its tempting daily specials lure patrons into the restaurant constistently and with specials such as seafood towers on Tuesdays for $28.88, drink specials from 12-6 p.m., and of course, 100 oysters for $100 (or more, if you're up for it) it's hard to resist stopping by!

Whilst you cannot choose which kind of oysters you get if you order the Thursday special, Pearl Diver's selection of oysters varies on a daily basis from both the East and West coast of Canada and the United States. Moreover, every so often overseas oysters make an appearance. An example of some oysters include oysters from Fanny Bay (B.C.), Kusshi (B.C.), Kumamoto, (Washington), Malpeque (P.E.I.), and Daisy Bay (Nova Scotia).

Besides oysters, dishes that are worth noting include its fish & chips, seared scallops, a 1.5lb lobster, mussels & fries, and its signature PD burger. With a nice selection of craft beer, these ocean tresures will pair well with anything you order.

If you aren't in downtown Toronto on weekdays, don't fret. Although Pearl Diver is known for its seafood specials, they also have brunch on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with live jazz at 2 p.m.
