Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 5 Favorite Date Spots Slideshow
April 4, 2013
They're regulars at this Brooklyn pizza spot. They venture here on Sundays as often as they can, and they've even gotten pals like Oprah hooked. Jay-Z dished to Oprah on the great date spot "There’s a great pizza spot we go to every Sunday," said the rapper. "You can bring your own wine, and there are candles. It’s a nice date." They even skipped the 2012 Grammys for a night at their favorite place.
The couple ventures here pretty often, enjoying not only the fare but the neighborhood as well, since Beyoncé's sister Solange lives in the neighborhood. The couple rang in the New Year with pals in 2012, dining on fried chicken and oysters. Since then, Beyoncé has returned for brunch with baby Blue.
Bey and Jay celebrated their second anniversary at the Madison Avenue eatery, enjoying a seven-course dinner that included penne rigate with spicy sausage, peas, and some truffles all while showering each other with new presents — her with a new iPad and he with a customized silver Jeep convertible. Afterward, they sped off to Broadway to take in Chicago.
Jay-Z’s restaurant and club has played home to many celebrity events — especially those that are sports-driven. None was greater than when they hosted their pals, President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. The couple is renowned for sitting at their table sipping on Jay-Z’s bubbly of choice — Ace of Spades.
It doesn't get much better than this as a date spot. Beyoncé and Jay-Z are known to escape their busy lives and head to St. Tropez with baby Blue and their family, relaxing and drinking wine and enjoying whatever it is that their private chef whips up for them.
