Add Daily Meal on Google:

If you're an Aldi shopper, then you know that there have been some great products this year at the discount grocery store chain. We've already made lists of the best Aldi Finds of 2026, as well as the year's best Aldi bakery and Aldi breakfast finds (so far). And now, we're taking a look at the store's pie offerings. So, if you're someone who would, say, choose pie over cake when given the choice (or would be interested in reading our ultimate list of all the best pies, ever), then you'll want to read on.

We've compiled a list of the best Aldi pies of the year so far, but this list may surprise you. Because, while Aldi has put out traditional pies (one of which we've featured here), it has also released pie-inspired desserts. These treats offer a way to enjoy the yummy flavors of pie but in the form of a smaller nibble. Two such desserts have made this list, and we suspect they'll catch the eye of anyone who has ever craved pie but didn't want to buy a full-sized one. The pie desserts that Aldi shoppers have loved this year include the Village Maker strawberry rhubarb pie, the pie bites (which come in three different flavors), and the new types of handheld pie blossoms. Read on to learn more about each tasty product.

The Village Pie Maker Strawberry Rhubarb Premium Pie

The Village Pie Maker Strawberry Rhubarb Premium Pie first showed up this year in March and will be returning to Aldi on November 11. Keep this pie in your freezer until you're ready to bake it; then, all you have to do is transfer it to the oven. In other words, you'll have a fresh pie that tastes homemade without having to do any of the work yourself. The pie is 3 pounds, contains 10 servings, and costs about $14.95.

This pie — along with, to a lesser extent, the apple version — is very popular amongst Aldi shoppers on Reddit. "Best pie I've ever eaten in my life, full stop," declared one commenter. "Lots of rhubarb," another shopper agreed. "The pastry is superb."

And, in another Reddit thread, someone said it lasted a mere day and a half in their household. "I was the only consumer," they joked. "Have another in my freezer now for when I have better self-control." All in all, it's clear that this pie is worth a buy. You can serve it on a special occasion, such as a birthday or holiday, or simply keep one on hand for when you want an extra delectable treat.

ALDI Pie Bites

Pie bites are a genius idea; they are everything that you love about pie in a cute, bite-sized package. In May, Aldi released these delicious pie bites in three irresistible flavors: Banana Cream, Key Lime, and Coconut Cream. Each one is covered in a chocolate coating with a buttery graham cracker crust inside, along with the filling. Each box contains 10 bites and costs about $5.49. These are perfect for when you need just a small treat to satisfy your sweet tooth, or when you're in the mood for multiple types of pie (if you bought all the flavors, you could have a bite from each, making for one satisfying dessert). They would also be perfect for a dinner party, as you can lay out multiple flavors on a platter for guests to enjoy. So, next time you see these on the Aldi shelves, be sure to grab a few boxes.

Aldi shoppers on Reddit were very happy to see these pie bites back in stock earlier this year. "I would fill up my freezer if I could," wrote one poster. Many commenters agreed with this sentiment. "I can clear a whole box like it's one candy bar," said one reply. "I HOPE THEY'RE [AT] MY STORE," another person enthusiastically wrote in a different thread. "I'll fill my freezer [with] the coconut ones." Based on Aldi shoppers' comments on Reddit, it seems like each flavor has its own fans, so you may just have to try all three when you get the chance.

Specially Selected Cherry Blossoms

Finally, we have the Specially Selected Cherry Blossoms. Aldi has had several flavors throughout the years, but this flavor, along with Strawberry Rhubarb, caught the attention of Aldi shoppers in May 2026. Each blossom consists of sweet, crispy pastry with filling inside, basically acting as a handheld pie where the crust is wrapped around the filling instead of sitting at the bottom. Just like the bites, this dessert is just what you need when you're craving pie but want a smaller version. Naturally, Aldi fans love this product and had plenty of complimentary things to say about these two flavors.

"Strawberry rhubarb is my favorite pie," wrote one commenter on Reddit. "I love that it's tart [and] not too sweet." Another person disagreed, expressing their love for the cherry flavor. "I was especially impressed with the crust," they said.

While there are a few comments here and there stating that this dessert is too tart, most Aldi shoppers seem to love the balance in these pies. However, this is something to keep in mind before you try these flavors. Some customers noted that these blossoms taste delicious when paired with ice cream, if you're looking to elevate the dessert (or offset some of that tartness) whenever you get a chance to try it.
