5 Popular Aldi Products That Were Discontinued In 2026

Aldi, the German grocery store chain famed for its low priced food items, eclectic selection, and chaotic "aisle of shame," makes for a unique shopping experience. If you've never been to one of their locations before, be sure to consult our guide for first time Aldi shoppers. But grabbing supplies at Aldi can be a bit of a mixed (grocery) bag. While there are some great deals and delicious foods all over, there are some definite downsides as well — for example, selling some of the worst chocolate syrup you can find. 

Another potential disadvantage to shopping at Aldi is that its inventory is always in flux and it often discontinues products, even if they're seemingly popular. This means that sometimes a beloved product can disappear from shelves forever without much warning. Such is the case with these products that were discontinued in 2026. They may be gone, but they're not forgotten by Aldi shoppers. 

Savoritz Woven Whole Wheat Crackers came in a few flavors, including original, rosemary and olive oil, and cracked pepper.  If you think the box these crackers came in look similar to the Triscuit box, you're not alone — in fact, Triscuit's parent company Mondelēz sued Aldi over copycat packaging. Could this be part of why these crackers vanished? 

Whatever the reason, they started disappearing in spring of 2026. On Reddit, fans expressed their disappointment that the cracker was gone, with one user saying, "[I] miss these crackers sooooooo much!"

Shoppers have been noticing the reduction in offerings from Aldi's in-house vegan brand, Earth Grown, for some time. This trend continues with the Earth Grown veggie burgers, which haven't been seen on shelves since early this year. They were made with a mixture of 11 vegetables, including carrots, peas, zucchini, and edamame, as well as whole oats. 

Users on Reddit lamented the loss of these burgers, with one fan calling them "staples of a high protein breakfast."

Clancy's Pub Pretzels were seasoned with garlic and onion and the packaging promised a "bold" and "zesty" flavor. They built up quite a fan following until the product vanished from shelves in May. One social media user said that "nothing [they] have ever tried in the pretzel world came close. This stinks!"

These pub style snacks have been replaced with another Aldi pretzel product with a different flavor profile, Clancy's Homestyle Seasoned Pretzel Twists. 

Here's another pretzel-related casualty at Aldi: Deutsche Küche Bavarian Soft Pretzels, which were sold in packs of six and could once be found in the frozen food section. They have been disappearing since April 2026. These were a much beloved item for some Aldi shoppers: a Reddit thread from a few years ago is full of excitement for these German-style pretzels, with one user saying they were "simply awesome and so easy."

While there are some reasons you might want to avoid drinking almond milk, Aldi's chocolate almond milk from Friendly Farms was still a popular choice. The grocery store chain stopped restocking this beverage in early 2026 and consumers noticed. On Reddit, a number of Aldi shoppers decried its loss, with one user saying "Yeah[,] I'd been drinking it for years and then introduced it to my girl and she loved it over the name brands. It was a simple pleasure."
