Zuckerberg's 'Kill What I Eat' Experiment Is Over
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg may be going back to a normal, carnivorous diet. The 28-year-old just wrapped up his yearlong experiment of only eating meat he kills, and reminded the world via Facebook post.
"I updated my grilling app, iGrill, today and it now has Facebook integration that lets you see what other people are grilling right now around the world. Awesome. I'm making a Fred's steak," he wrote on his Facebook page.
USA Today did some digging, calling up Schaub's Meat, Fish, and Poultry Market to confirm that a representative did see Zuckerberg buy some meats, including a Fred's marinated sirloin. A "Fred Steak" is a steak that looks black due to a molasses, tamari soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, and coffee marinade.
And while USA Today did some store stalking, Zuckerberg's Facebook also shows that the CEO "liked" Chicken McNuggets on Facebook last Saturday. Zuckerberg and his wife also ate at McDonald's on their honeymoon, so maybe some Mickey D's love is showing? Sidenote: Facebook stalking the Facebook CEO is so meta.
