ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) — The first participant in the first ever College Football Playoff has been decided — at least off the field.
The Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band will headline the Championship Tailgate party prior to the inaugural College Football Playoff national championship game in January.
The tailgate party will take place adjacent to AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Jan 12, 2015, and is free to all game ticket holders.
The tailgate will open at noon and will "allow fans to gather and enjoy interactive games, sponsor activities, concessions, ESPN broadcast sets", as well as watch the live performance.
Additional details regarding concerts scheduled in the area prior to the game have not yet been announced.
