Win A Free Stay At Holiday Inn

To coincide with its 60th anniversary, Holiday Inn is giving away free night stays to residents in the U.S., Canada (except Quebec), and Mexico who share memories of their memorable firsts.

Travelers who share a story, photo, or video of their memorable firsts like trying regional delicacies in New England, Europe, or China on Holiday Inn's Facebook page or via Twitter using the hashtag #celebratefirsts are entered to win one of that day's 60 free nights at any Holiday Inn in the world. The contest ends Aug. 31, 2012, and the free nights are given in the form of Priority Club Rewards points.

Founded by Kemmons Wilson in 1952, Holiday Inn was the first hotel brand to offer "Kids Stay Free" promotions, a pool, a restaurant, a lounge, free ice, and online booking.

"Like Holiday Inn, our guests have celebrated many firsts over the years, but most importantly they'll never forget them — which is why we're inviting guests to share their memorable firsts with us," said Verchele Wiggins, vice president of global brand management for Holiday Inn Family of Brands.

Holiday Inn is also hosting a Then & Now photo competition. Travelers who share their "then and now" photos of memorable events or firsts like engagement meals, birthday meals, or first date dinners at Holiday Inn's Facebook page are entered to win a weeklong family vacation at any Holiday Inn hotel. The contest ends Sept. 30, 2012.
