The White House Correspondents' Association Dinner: Who's Going

Well, here we are again. Another year, another White House Correspondents' Association Dinner; this year marks it's 98th year. Now that awards season is more or less behind us, these celebrities need a reason to get together, and what better reason than to visit with the president and the first lady? 

The annual soirée is usually flooded with A-listers and this year is no different. The event will be hosted by funnyman Jimmy Kimmel, and a few names on the guest list have been released. Guests already gracing the queue are: Sofia Vergara, George Clooney, Zooey Deschanel, Lindsay Lohan, Stevie Wonder, Viola Davis, Kim Kardashian and many, many more top-tiered famous faces.

While we're waiting for this year's menu to be released, we can only wonder what dishes will grace the plates this weekend. Last year's menu included: 

Appetizer: Garden herb salad with treviso radicchio, chive spears, herbed Montrachet cheese and crostini, and a port and quince vinaigrette dressing

Main course: Petite filet with wild mushrooms and onion compote paired with coco-buttered scallops, cranberry and tasso risotto, and grilled baby veggies including zucchini, spring pepper, and sunburst squash

Dessert: Kit Kat Pyramid, cherry verrine, passion fruit Napoleon

Wine: Estancia chardonnay, Estancia cabernet sauvignon
