676 Restaurant – With the same devotion to local ingredients as he shows throughout the year, Chef Hasho will be serving up a four-course prix fixe meal on Christmas Day. Special dishes include Catalpa Farm Lamb Chops with pickled huckleberry, parsnip puree, and sautéed faro, and Burtons Sugarplum Crumble with rum raisin ice cream and maple caramel. The Florentine – Chef Chris Macchia will be presenting his spin on the traditional Italian Feast of Seven Fishes with a three-course menu. Antipasti will include octopus carpaccio and grilled scallops, with featured entrees of spaghetti vongole and roasted whole sea bass. The menu is $55 a person with wine pairing available for $25. Bistronomic – The three-course tasting menu from Chef Martial Noguier’s Gold Coast restaurant will be available from 3pm to 10pm on Christmas Day. Sixteen – The Trump Tower’s premier restaurant will offer a couple choices for Christmas Day. The first is a Christmas brunch, including carving station, fresh seafood, breads, and a seasonal dessert station. Brunch will be served from 10:30 am to 3 pm, at $148 for adults and $35 for children eight and under. From 6 pm to 10 pm, dinner will be offered in both four and eight courses at $115 and $155 per person. The tasting menu will be very special, celebrating the history and growth of Chicago. J. Rocco Italian Table & Bar – With another Feast of Seven Fishes, J. Rocco provides a more traditional take. The seven course meal will include dishes inspired by owner Joseph Frasca’s childhood holidays. The menu is available for $48 per person and will be offered from the 18th through Christmas Eve. Lockwood Restaurant – From 11 am to 4 pm, help yourself to a Christmas feast at Lockwood’s buffet. Selections from land, ocean, and farm will be on offer, as well as traditional and contemporary holiday desserts.
