The annual Reading Terminal Market Harvest Festival returns this Saturday, October 18th from 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. outside the Terminal on Filbert Street. Enjoy hayrides, a pumpkin patch, corn stalks, beer gardens, live music and, of course, amazing local food. Free.

Don't miss the kick-off of Boo at the Zoo this weekend running Saturday, October 18th and Sunday, October 19th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Philadelphia Zoo. Kids can dress up in their favorite costumes and trick-or-treat throughout the zoo to get candy, treats and discover Halloween fun too! $20 for adults, $18 for children ages 2-11, free for under two.

Shiverfest is Riverbend's annual Halloween night of the year offering a fun, family friendly event with slightly spooky, but always friendly fall fun for all. Enjoy pumpkin decorating, a trick or treat trail, storytelling around the campfire and a costumed trek through the Haunted Trail. Plus enjoy a reptile show, a moon bounce, pony rides, stargazing and more. Food and beverages available for purchase. $15. Kids three and under free.

Hayrides to the Witches House and Pumpkinland

Linvilla Orchards kicks off the Halloween season with the return of Pumpkinland and the popular hayrides to the Witches House running Friday, October 17th through Sunday, October 19th. Families can select their pumpkins from the over 100 tons on display and enjoy fall treats and fun and then hop aboard the hayride to the witches house (evening only.) Hayrides to witches house run from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Pumpkinland 8 a.m – 6 p.m. Free admission. Some events ticketed.
