Umami's $100 Burger

Right on the tails of Midtown Row's $28 In-N-Out Double-Double, Umami Burger is also dishing out 1 Percent-Worthy burgers.

The "Money Is No Object" burger is made with a dry-aged Wagyu beef patty, topped with "Hudson Valley foie gras, carmelized onion marmalade, and reduced 1977 Croft Vintage Port. The final step finds Umami cooks shaving about a 1/4 inch of white truffles on top," Grub Street reports. Umami's only missing the "useless" gold flakes to put their creation up there with the "Gut Busterger."

However, management at the Umami Urban location didn't have any knowledge of the burger, and a corporate representative refused to comment, claiming that they are not publicizing the burger any more. Perhaps all the negative press has them scared?
