Tokyo Trip With A $50K Price Tag
Have you been saving up for that dream trip to Japan? Well, perhaps you should start saving just a little bit more.
Palace Hotel Tokyo is offering a $50,000 package available from January that combines the art, culture, gastronomy, and natural wonders of Japan all in one five-night, six-day trip.
The package, called Quintessentially Tokyo, offers guests an opportunity to capture the essence of Japan through an itinerary that speaks to the uniqueness and traditions of Japan. Among the culinary options that come with the package is the chance to embark on a one-on-one gourmand tour with a culinary aficionado. Tour options range from sipping sake with the country's foremost non-Japanese expert on Japan's favorite fermented brew to navigating Tsukiji fish market with a local chef, sommelier, and book author.
Additionally, the Quintessentially Tokyo package offers individually tailored four-hour private session with a cultural expertto explain and help navigate Japan's deeply rooted, and sometimes complex, customs and traditions. There will also be the opportunity to enjoy a kaiseki lunch or dinner for two, which is a traditional, multi-course meal served in Japan, at Wadakura.
Accommodation will be in the hotel's top abode, Palace Suite, a sprawling 210-square-meter contemporary space with an art collection of its own. The suite is rivaled only by the incredible views beyond, including that of the city's skyline, Wadakura Fountain Park, and Imperial Palace Plaza.
