The Great European Food Tour

We may have just dipped into winter, but our minds are most certainly springing ahead to the warmer months, the perfect time of year to get out and explore the rich flavors and cultures of Europe.

Europe's size and accessibility allows travelers to make the most of their time when visiting the continent, whether they are choosing to travel around a particular country, rent a car and country hop, or take in the scenic routes by hopping on a train. Airfare throughout Europe can be cheap, too, but with so many options right at your fingertips, it can be difficult to know where to start, what to do, and most especially where and what to eat.

Travelex has put together "The Great European Food Tour" looking at food across the continent, displaying national dishes, street food options, luxury restaurants, and main food festival dates for each country.

If you're interested in heading to Austria, be sure to try out the national dish of wiener schnitzel, or breaded veal cutlets. Want to go to the Netherlands? Visit De Leest restaurant, a two-star Michelin restaurant since 2007 that offers a modern take on Dutch cuisine.
