Le Chique is a culinary gem.

Imagine if René Redzepi cooked at Sandals. Welcome to<Le Chique, an avant-garde wonderland hidden in a Rivera Maya resort. The luxury hotel, Azul Sensatori, isn’t all-inclusive, though it is  Gourmet Inclusive™, with Le Chique being their gastronomic gem.

Helmed by chef Jonatán Gómez-Luna, himself a former stage at the famous elBulli in Spain, Le Chique’s epic tasting menus marry modern technique with Mexican ingredients. Think bone marrow encacahuatado (peanut sauce), gorditas plump with cochinata pibil, and puffy clouds of gin and tonics. With Gómez’s playful and impressive food, each dish elicits gasps of delight. It takes a village — Gómez plus 22 cooks — to produce this parade of plated art.

Understandably, the accolades are starting to pour in: a prestigious AAA Five-Diamond award and a Best Gourmet Award by Travel and Leisure. Le Chique's 6-course, 12-dish tasting is included in the price of the hotel room for guests staying at Azul Sensatori. An even more elaborate 12-course meal with more than 20 dishes is available for only $110 per person for hotel guests and $150 for non-hotel guests. The tastings both include wine pairings.Considering tastings of this caliber normally run over $300 per person, Le Chique is a culinary steal.

Where else in the world can you pair a phenomenal meal with poolside lounging and a beachside massage? Savor this unique sybaritic experience, only at Le Chique.
